So quiet.
Mariefred is a very nice little village and this hotel is in the middle of it. 5 minutes walk to the castle, 1 minute to a grocery store, book store etc and cafes.
The room was clean and cozy with windows that could be opened.
I took my morning smoke 50 steps away, on a bench looking out over the water and the castle, (attached pic)

Beautiful surroundings with a view of Gripsholm Castle and Lake Mälaren. Large shared room with a well-equipped kitchen. A rich buffet breakfast in a hotel 500m away - a pleasant morning walk. Poetic city Mariefred offers lovely evening walks.

It was a perfect beautifully decorated hotel, our beds were extremely comfortable, the staff were delightful and the food delicious
