Charming historic buildings in great condition with an elegant lounge. Delicious breakfast with a nice lake view. Wonderful staff. Very clean and quiet room. Comfortable bed.

The holiday house was a beautiful barn conversion, ideal for our family. The location was stunning. So peaceful in an area that had everything we required, from woodland and lakes to quiet roads and a lovely village nearby. Erik, our host, was a perfect gentleman with a wealth of interesting information. He helped my daughter enormously as she is planning to move with her family to Sweden, even offering continuing help. Such a lovely person. Thank you Erik.

IKEA Hotell is 500 metres from Älmhult train and bus station. Decorated with IKEA furniture, it offers Swedish cuisine and en-suite rooms with a TV. WiFi and parking are free.

The whole experience was absolutely incredible!! Definitely unforgettable. The room was a nice size and the bed was really comfortable. The living room on each floor is nice for a late tea outside of the bedroom. The bottom floor is just amazing, filled with activities and great for kids to play around. Reception and all the staff is super friendly and always ready to help! My favorite part, the bicycles!! Such a great opportunity to explore Älmhult by bike! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

The house is incredibly beautiful and has everything one could possibly need, and the location is wonderful too. There's a beautiful lake nearby that's perfect for swimming, and many activities one would like to undertake with kids can be reached within a 45 minute drive. There is a lot of quietude and it's a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Situated just 44 km from Växjö station, Boende i Målaskog, near the lake, boat, big garden features accommodation in Ryssby with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as bicycle parking.

Our stay was fantastic albeit we were a bit unlucky with the weather. The super house we stayed in and especilly the very open, friendly, helpful hosts made our stay just perfect. the magical location and surroundings did the rest for us. By way of doing things with the family, there is almost nothing that cannot be done/experienced. there is animals, football pitches conicidentally nearby, moose wandering about (well, not quite - but hey we spotted one), the lake is in stumbling distance and very inviting (if only we had 5 degrees more), several playgrounds in walking distance, canoes, rowing boats, kayaks, bicyles, toys, stuff to play and -- as aforementioned - just genuinely friendly "hostpeople".

Newly renovated classic swedish summerhouse. Clean and cozy. Kitchen is very well equipped: you have everything you need and a little more for a long stay. Location is good: quiet place and at the same time it is 4 minutes away by car to nearest Ica. There is no wifi, but mobile internet works perfect.

It really is a charming place, with two living rooms, a kitchen, and a large, partially covered terrace. The bed was comfortable and the stay was very pleasant. The other guests were nice, quiet, and respectful, and sharing the bathroom was no problem. Communication with the owners ( Bertil and Muhammad ) was excellent; they respond quickly, are reliable, very nice, and helpful. The location is great, not far from the train station and right next to the IKEA Museum. The price-performance ratio is fair. The location is a good base. Älmhult is well connected to the train network, making it easy to take a day trip to Malmö or Lund. In general, the city is home to very nice, open-minded people, and I can recommend the place.

Bart is a friendly guy who takes great care of his place. Everything was clean and in order. The compost toilet might not be for everyone but was no problem using (and Bart's loft is a place in the countryside - if people need city comfort, a cabin in the wood is probably the wrong place anyway). The oven works well and fire wood is included in the price.
