The creativity of redeveloping an old "Cold War/2nd World War" network of Bunkers into a Boutique Hotel was awe-inspiring. Anders looked after us v.well with lovely accomodation/shower, toiletries, breakfasts and many nooks and crannies to chill and relax.
Okay, so the residence isnt near any shops, but that's not why you would stay there. You'd stay because of the comfort and solitude.
It's also only 10 mins drive from the Ferry to Fårö, which is in itself an amazing self-contained community.

A unique experience to stay in an old fortress. A boutique hotel with on site restaurant, boule court, pool table and swimming pool + sauna. Rooms were air conditioned. Staff was super friendly. A great stay and can really recommend to others.

Dinner menu is limited but has some really nice food and wine. Breakfast is amazing. The hotel overall clean and nicely fitted out with an unusual setting.

A few kilometres to Fårösund ferry. Easy access and parking. A basic room, beds ok. A sport center with indoor pool a few steps away.
