The rooms were clean and there was a welcome coconut for every guest :) and when we checked out and forgot our mobile phone at the hotel, owner brought it to us at the airport! Best service! Our experience at the Seaboards has been one the most memorable for the Seychelles. Our host Bertrand gracefully allowed us to check-in earlier that the usual check-in time which we where very grateful for. The apartment was very fresh, super clean and air-conditioning was set at the right temperature. Fresh baked pastries was served for breakfast along with delicious fruits & pancakes. The team is very welcoming, attentive and ready to assists in anyway possible. The pool was the ideal spot to cool off in the afternoon. It is a definite must for you to try the local cuisine of the Seaboards, they have one the best cooks. The food was delicious! Definitely recommend staying at the Seaboards, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making our stay one of the best in Seychelles. Till next time !

The hosts Mrs. Marthe and Mr. Alfred are super helpful and easy going. Mr. Alfred gave us a lots of tips for exploring the Islands. The property is beautiful. The balcony and its view are superb. The two rooms are big and each one has a very nice bathroom. There is AC and ceiling fan in each room.The water pressure is good for having a nice shower. The living room is integrated with the Kitchen and is spacious. The Kitchen is very well equipped.There is a ceiling fan in the living room. The WiFi is good. There is a laundry room with washing machine. Everything is well maintain and first class. There is space for parking. I will definitively come back and stay in La Vida. I really recommend it to anybody to stay there.

We liked everything about Villa Bella. It was clean, new, and spacious (only 2 apartments in the house, so we had the whole upper floor), balcony is huge so you have 2 sitting areas with an amazing view since the beach is right across the road. The villa is not in the touristy part (just the way we like it) but the bus stop is a few meters away and the bus goes straight to Victoria. There is also a mini market not even 5 minutes away (walking) and also a really good takeaway right next to the store (but it is open only from 10am - 1.30/2pm). The kitchen is fully functional AND they have oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper for you to use which is really nice. They are also huge on security so there are gates to the property and an alarm system in the villa. Not that you need it but as they say better to be safe than sorry. Marie-Helen and Jean-Marc are amazing hosts, really nice and fast to respond to any wishes that you might have.

Unfortunately, my experience on Mahé was far from what I expected. The island simply didn’t leave a positive impression on me. Despite its natural beauty, I found very little that would make me want to return. The overall atmosphere didn’t suit me, and the destination felt overrated compared to many other places I’ve visited around the world. I honestly wouldn’t come back to Mahé, and I wouldn’t choose the Seychelles again as a travel destination.

Mahe is very busy so if you do not like a quiet getaway this Island is for you. There are various beaches to visit, museums and art galleries. Be mindful of public holidays, many places are closed. Saturdays are half day and Sundays they closed. Plan your stay and excursions so you are aware of what will be open and when. Food is great, visit the Boat House and Beach Shack at Beau Vallon.

A car is mandatory if you want to visit and see the beaches or other POI`s. But the roads are narrow and you drive on the left, so you have to be careful. The buses have a schedule, but they don't necessarily follow it, and you don`t want to wait for it on the side of the road, in the heat. If you're the all-inclusive type who stays in one place from start to finish, then forget about the car.

Mahé – A True Paradise Mahé captured our hearts from the very first moment. The island is a beautiful blend of lush green mountains, stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We loved exploring its charming beaches like Anse Royale and Takamaka, snorkeling in warm waters, and discovering hidden local spots. Every corner felt like a postcard — vibrant, peaceful, and full of natural beauty. Mahé offered the perfect balance between adventure and pure relaxation, and made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. We can't wait to come back one day!

Its privacy yet right upon the beach. Ros A Mer provided all cooking facilities. The dining experierience, there were so many choices on the patio, inside or evan on the beach to the accompyment of the sound of the waves. From every angle was a beautiful view. We were received by the owners and Ermma. So helpful and welcoming. The air and was so good as was local cusine and we can say we left feeling healed and restored. The inspiration we carry with us. We loved the warm, friendly Seychellois welcome on arrival. The island is absolutely stunning, from the wild jungle and huge granite mountains to the pristine beaches and indescribably blue sea. The driving is crazy - the roads are not straight with lots of steep curves and bends, so drive carefully if you hire a car to explore the island, which is highly recommended. There are lots of hidden gems - we ate at Maria's Rock which was a fabulous experience, and we highly recommend eating at the Boat House on Beau Vallon beach and the Green House in Au Cap. Buy freshly caught fish from the fish sellers on the side of the road and cook your own - it is cheap and delicious. Food in general, whether you are eating out or buying from one of the local corner grocery stores, is very pricey, so beware! Visit the Botanical Gardens and grab a delicious pastry and ice cream from the Polish owned bakery just across the road and down from the Botanical Gardens entrance. Definitely visit the Mission Ruins in Venn's Town in the Morne Seychellois National Park, the views are breathtaking. Also visit the beach at Anse Soleil for the best sunsets.

I recently stayed at the Laïla Hotel in the Seychelles and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was very clean, and there were many plants everywhere, which made the place look very beautiful and relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations, with many tasty options to choose from every day. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would love to visit again.

Lenny is the perfect Host and takes great pride in his job, personalising everyone's stay to suit their needs. His attention to detail is absolutely amazing and equally the amount of information he provides about places to visit, where and what to eat and how to get about the Seychelles. We absolutely loved his warm hospitality and sense of humour and his cats Black and Blackie adopted us as family from day 1.
