We had a lovely relaxing stay at the donkey farm, it was such a nice place we decided to have an extra night there. Sergey and the team are very welcoming, allowing my husband to have a go at milking a donkey, and showing us around the farm. It was great to be amongst all the animals. The room had a little woodburner, good for keeping the evening chill in late October at bay. There were a lot of cats and dogs about but they were all sweet natured.

It was a wonderful house with a wonderful view from the terrace, and the village was like in a fairy tale. BUT: first of all, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming that it really felt like going home. Dragana was waiting for us like we were family members. We will never forget it! I reserved this cottage for the month of October, to see the leaves change. I arrived when the mountains were dotted with specs of yellow and left when all the leaves turned earth brown and the wind was returning them back to the soil. Every morning I would sit in a loveseat with a cup of tea, foraged from mountain herbs, watching the sun pour into the living room through the window. And then I would start work. The Wifi signal was fantastic, even for group zoom video calls. I took the bike out to the waterfalls, zooming down the rocky mountain road. I went to the lake, a canyon, interesting rock formations. I was there during mushroom season and learned which ones are edible and I prepared them using the large and fully equipped kitchen. The sun sets early over the mountain so I would start a fire and the host would check with me to make sure I could do it. At the end of the day, I was happy to sink into a thick memory foam mattress that rested on top of two other mattresses. I felt like a princess on a pea.

The location is excellent, the apartment is nicely decorated, newly refurbished some minor wear marks on the walls, it was quite a warm apartment as well. The host is great, he helped me with the payment for the on street parking.
