Vișeu de Sus is a very good choice for a successful vacation, because: you can walk with Mocanița(steam-powered locomotive), you can hike to the Horse Waterfall, you can visit the Bârsana Monastery or the Merry Cemetery in Săpânța. The hosts were very nice and friendly. They invited us to a palinca in the evening and coffee in the morning. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for breakfast because we took the 9 am train, but it smelled delicious. We had a beautiful view from our balcony. Very comfortable beds. We were greeted with great warmth, a cup of coffee and a palinka on the house.
