We loved the proximity to Rasnov castle. We arrived in the afternoon/evening and got a beautiful room with view to Rasnov castle. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation and the ease to dine on site. They also have a little playground for children which was great for us, as tired parents. The food was great and the waiter was kind enough to split the adult portion between the 2 children. They also have a nice desert place on site. So all in all, it was an excellent choice, great value for money, friendly staff. We will be returning. Thank you.

Great architecture and interior design, it's truly unique and really beautiful. Congrats to the architect! It's also really quiet and remote, with lots of room to explore (both in the yard and outside). Very good food as well, especially considering it's pretty much your only choice.

There is a always something positive about the person that is receiving me when I go to new place. Same happen at Cerbul Chalet and the receptionist helped me with accomodation being very kind which gave me a ve4y good vibe and afterwards helped me to recover my valuable neckleace that I forgot in the room and was thrown at the bin. I wish to say "multumesc" to her again! Multumesc! I recommend the accomodation.

We really enjoyed everything. The check-in was quick and convenient, the hostess was sweet and pleasant, and the cleanliness was excellent. Everything was new and beautiful. There was a small kitchen that had everything to make us feel very comfortable and good. We traveled around Romania, visiting Bran Castle, which is just a 10-minute drive away on a good road, and that’s how we found this wonderful place. We will gladly recommend this place to all our friends who travel. Thank you very much to the hostess 🙏."

Pleasant and comfortable accommodation close to where the hike to Malaiesti chalet starts. The owners are nice and helpful, the place is extremely clean and there is good wifi everywhere. We had an excellent time at Izvorul lui Dracula and will gladly return. Bear in mind, if you're paying with a company card, they don't have the possibility to offer an invoice and Booking cannot help you with this. Also, bring shampoo and conditioner, as there is only soap and shower gel provided. This was not an inconvenient for us, however, we've come prepared :) The value/price ratio is excellent, water pressure is great and everything works well. There are plugs next to each bedside, which is a nice detail and the view from the terrace is fantastic, facing a small stream. Close to this place there is a trout farm with a terrace, serving really good fish and meats, at great prices.

It was very clean, the rooms were big and they have heated floors, we had more than enough towels, slippers and toiletries. There was a mini fridge in the room stacked with a lot of choices to eat and drink, our room was cleaned every day. I noticed a lot of attention to details, the beds were comfortable and there was a carpet all over the floor. The owner was really nice, we got to talk a little bit, she is very hospitable. We had a breakfast included which was very good. Overall we had a really nice stay and we will come back for sure.

We really enjoyed our time here! The place is very well furnished and has all things necessary to feel like home. The hosts were very polite and attended to all needs you might have there. There were fully equipped kitchen and cleaning tools. The beds are extremely comfortable. Everything was in place!

    Great base for traveling over to Brasov, Bran Castle, Rasnov Fort, Dino Park Much more chilled area. Wonderful La Prominada restaurant down the road. Playground inside & outside, lovely staff and will deliver food to guest house. Also lovely walk in forest just beside there. Rasnov Fort is closed. But still a fun adventure to go up into the outer walls. Lift or walk up steps. Go to Dino Park just beside on the same day I suggest.

    Nice quiet town with medieval fortress, situated near the largest city in the region, Brasov, with its beautiful Old Town, and near Bran Castle. A car is recommended for getting around, although train and bus links are available daily for Brasov. Situated between mountain ranges, with lots of hiking trails in the area. It's a great accommodation option if you want to go skiing, with nearest resorts in Poiana Brasov and Predeal. It hosts Romania's biggest ski jumping center, a regular venue in the World Cup in recent years.

    Very nice little town. Good connection with Brasov. We have taken lunch and dinner at Promenada (very good food and if not too busy good service). We have survived Dino Park twice :)), a wonderful place, with a quite expensive souvenir shop. I recommend also Valea Cetatii Cave, 1.5 km from the Rasnov citadel.

    Great location for a small vacation.

    Great location for a small vacation. A lot of things to visit, especially if you have kids: Rasnov Citadel, Dino Park, Citadel Valley Cave, Cheile Rasnoavei. In close distance: Bear Reservation in Zarnesti, Bran(Castle), Brasov(Zoo, Aventura Park).

    Rasnov is a small city know mostly for the Citadel.

    Rasnov is a small city know mostly for the Citadel. If you plan to visit you should know that the Citadel is closed for the moment due to restauration and you cannot visit the interior courtyard, but you can still go ahead and see the citadel's entrance and the Dino Park.
