We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was large, spacious, and very comfortable. Everything was spotless, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our time here. The location is also ideal, with easy access to the shopping mall and the airport. We highly recommend this place!

Very close to the airport, shuttle service provided, the reception team arranged some changes with no extra charge. The only downside about the location is that we couldn’t find an Uber from Therme to take us back to the hotel at night - none of them wanted to take us back for the Uber fee of 25-30 lei, and were propositioning to do a cash job for 100 lei. We used the official taxi instead, also cost 100 lei. In hindsight, we should have kept our rental car a day longer, would have cost less than these taxis. Breakfast was excellent, cost around €10pp, and it is one of the very few hotels where coffee was enjoyable enough for me to have a second cup - usually I end up not drinking even the first one. Very clean room and comfy bed.

The hotel was warm, friendly welcoming and convenient. The shuttle to and from the airport worked well. The hotel was clean and there were helpful amenities such as tea/ coffee and water in rooms. The restaurant was good value with a varied menu , food was great, served promptly. All staff spoke English, and all were friendly and keen to help. Location was perfect for prompt connections to flights. There are good public transport links into the city too. There is no lift, but this was not an issue as staff helped to carry bags. No noticeable noise from airport or main road with windows closed. No noise from other guests.

The airport is not great at all, the staff are not friendly,...

The airport is not great at all, the staff are not friendly, and the available food is terrible. the food is so overpriced for an airport and does not look fresh. In the Duty Free, the staff are on their phone and do not want to help. The toilets are disgusting and covered in faeces or broken locks. Would not recommend at all.

Well located to the airport.

Well located to the airport. Easy to access with train line nearby. Very comfortable and well appointed apartment. We needed somewhere comfortable just for one night and this suited us perfectly. Some shops and restaurants nearby.

I had a great time with my children in Bucharest.

I had a great time with my children in Bucharest. The bus system helps you get around the city cheaply. Uber is also very affordable. Our highlight was spending the day at the famous Therme Spa, lots to do, fun slides, restaurants, outdoor space and lots of lounge beds. Great locker system with a wristband for all your needs, you then pay at the end. Drinks and desserts are delicious, food is OK. You can catch a shuttle bus from the spa straight to the airport, so we were able to stay at the spa right up to the end of our stay. Most people were friendly and helpful if they were able to speak English. Perfect for families, couples or adult group trips.

Location to the main road, Buses, McDonalds, Lidl walking was 15 mins . Convince store in the area not too far. Clean neighbourhood Built up area. Close enough to The Therme Spa,10 minute taxi ride. Can catch uber or bolt around €8-€10 not even . I think because we were 5 people it was a little more so will be less of 3people. Close to airport too. Can catch bus or taxi. Must visit Edenland for the children and yourself. Zip lining, archery, fun day out.

The women are quite racist be careful, everything is quite far from the hotel and you need to book bolt's. Make sure you carry a charging point converter because the hotel doesnt have the UK plugs and dont have any points available.

Airport Residence Otopeni was a great choice for a stay near the airport. The room was spacious, clean, and had a large, comfortable bed. Everything I needed was provided, and the self check-in process was straightforward and well-organized. It’s a convenient option if you need to stay close to OTP Airport. There are a few places to eat and drink within walking distance. Easy access to the airport by train – just don’t forget to get off one stop before the airport when arriving from Central Station by train.

We stayed here for one night, as a convenient stopover near Otopeni airport. It was very easy to access our room, which was spacious, comfortable and clean. We walked about 15 minutes south on nice, quiet suburban roads and found grocery shops, an ATM and some decent restaurants. We also went to the nearby water park on the morning before our flight, which was good fun. I would highly recommend this hotel as a great place for a stopover in Bucharest!

I was unimpressed. A budget Ibis would have done the same job ( for less money). The coffee facility in the room was sub par, probably because they sell “better” coffee in the lobby. The restaurant and “snack “ prices were easily double of normal Romanian prices -which is still fairly cheap compared to the UK. The staff were lovely and very friendly. Very hospitable and willing to help. It was the hotel and its facilities that let down.

The apartment is very good; The building is nice too; Nearby there ia a supermarket, a bakery and a pharmacy. The owner is very helpfull, ecpecially when during the night the google navigation does not show the right location of the apartment. The owner send the location and after that everything went smooth. After the booking you will receive a detail information where and how to find the key of the apartment.

During our stay at Charter Hotel, the only truly positive experience was the interaction with the reception staff.
