First of all, the hosts were lovely. They welcomed us with fresh, homemade donuts and their traditional ‘acqua santa’/palinca. They offered us lovely breakfasts, dinner on demand… The villa is lovely, everything brand new, the location is lovely, very close to the mountains… super fresh air, super nice ambiance, amazing experience…

    Moisei is a cute mountain village located in Romania's Maramures region. It is home to the Moisei Monastery which is well worth a visit. The area is very scenic and nearby hiking trails lead in the Rodna National Park. For some real fun, bring your ATV. The area is full of wonderful scenic views of the valleys, pastures, forest, and mountains. Sunset was especially spectacular.
