We had a very nice stay in this cozy apartment. The beds are very comfortable, the shower hot and we enjoyed having a kitchen. Good location: Center, restaurants, supermarkets in walking distance & very quiet at night. The owner is very friendly & helpful and we were happy to store our bicycles in the garage. The kitchen would need a deepclean soon and we would appreciate to have some more kitchen towels.

I liked the atmosphere and the setting. Very romantic. Perfect for two, but also great for families. All the essentials are available, so even if you forgot something at home, don't worry, everything is here. The host is very friendly, polite, and helps guests with any questions. The bed is comfortable. There are many different lights for a pleasant ambiance. Lots of various accessories. There are paintings, a large mirror. Very clean. Great shower. Făgăraș is located almost halfway between the larger cities of Brașov and Sibiu, both of which have a well-known tourist reputation. However, it is worth taking the time to stop in Făgăraș. Făgăraș is a tourist destination in its own rights. The Făgăraș Fortress is a must-see! There is a wide variety of restaurants and food options available. The Daffodil Meadow is a great place for nature lovers and is only 25 minutes away. There are also several monasteries within 20–25 minutes that are not to be missed.

The citadel is very well preserved.

The citadel is very well preserved. It has a beautiful collection of the historical artéfacts. Casa Embacher is a very good place for dining. Food is very tasty, served in an artistical way(plates are coming decorated). Any menu choice is exceptional. Portions are big. Location beautiful. A good place to stay is Sada. Placed in the city center. Beautifully arranged in the inside. Personnel very attentive. Place very comfortable. Fagarasi is a good place to visit Sâmbaăta de Sus, Drăguș skiing slope, Sibiu or even Sighisoara.

A rather small town with a lot to offer: the castle and the churches, good restaurants and bars, the nearby mountains, including the highest peak in Romania (Moldoveanu: 2543 m). When coming please do not omit: the Sambata de Sus monastery (a landmark for the Romanian Orthodoxy), the Albota fishery and, in Porumbacu de Sus, the stylish troglodyte mud castle. On both ends you'll have, within a 50 miles distance, Brasov and Sibiu respectively.

It's my native town: there are nice spots to see and the citadel is definitely worth visiting. Consider a trip to the Brancoveanu Monastery, located in Sambata de Sus, approx. 13 km towards Sibiu, then turn left for more 7 kms. If you are fond of trekking, the trail running along the Sambata river will take you up in the mountains, to the Sambata Chalet (approx. 5 hours). Beware of the bears! They beg for food but they are not friendly. (This is a general warning for the mountainous regions of Transylvania.)

Location near Cetatea Făgărașului - a great historical experience , the extraordinary cleanliness, the mixture between modern and traditional architecture and decoration of the rooms . The breakfast was a great bonus for this accommodation . Also the restaurant and the sweet shop next to the hotel,very convenient for the lunch and a snack.

It is city hotel what could be a disadvantage for those who look for a silent place but this hotel has a good connection if you use public transport and it is close to the train station Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. There’s a small outside area where you can enjoy your morning meal. Staff is friendly and ready to help.

Very friendly and helpful host, very nice and clean apartment. The best equiped apartment i ever had (washing-maschine with dryer, coffee-machine, enough dishes and many more). If you are there by car, Fagaras is a nice place to stay, also for day-trips to Sibiu, Brasov or Bran.
