Great location it is the starting point of many mountain hikes right and it is situated between two major attraction points Vidraru dam and Balea lake. The rooms are quite large with a twin bed a mini fridge and a closet. Bed was very comfortable and there are enough blankets for colder evenings. There is the hotel bar and also a vending machine at the entrance for drinks and snacks.

The most exquisite and wonderful hotel on our trip in Romania. The rooms have a mesmerising view of the wonderful lake. The room was decorated in old soviet style, and true to its heritage the bathroom was just a little bit mouldy.

Great hotel on Transfagarasan road. 20 mins from Balea Lac. Née the hotel there is a small mountain river. The kids appreciated the playground for them. The restaurant is very good.

The area was beautiful but we almost went to a different hotel because, coming from Sibiu, there is no sign for the hotel!
