One of the best hotels we have stayed in. If we come to the area again, we will definitely come back!!! The hotel is new ,the rooms are clean and shiny and the cleaning staff ensures a high level of cleanliness every day - well done to them! We got 2 rooms with a connecting door so we could be with the kids and we even got an extra comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is delicious and fresh - although some fruit and cakes were missing, we enjoyed it! The hotel restaurant is excellent! The dishes are delicious and varied (we were there for 6 days and ate at the restaurant every day) - the restaurant staff is professional and nice and always made sure to have delicious dishes for us and our children! The view from the hotel is amazing! Located in front of the mountains on one side and Cantacuzino Castle on the other

Perfect! We just stayed for a night but we loved the tiny. Spacious comfy bed, nice attention for details, good quality work, nice shower, warm insode and enough blankets. We had tea and cofee and dishes to eat in if you wanted to. We loved it and we would gladöy come again

The accommodation was cozy, spotless clean, properly warmed, equipped with everything we needed for a weekend trip. The owner is not only polite, but helpful and friendly. The view was impressive, breathtaking. We enjoyed a barbecue lunch in the garden and roasted fish brought from a nearby trout farm which was enchanting.

We only spent one night in Busteni, in order to visit the...

We only spent one night in Busteni, in order to visit the Cantacuzino Palace. Our impression was that the resort is not very well managed -- some roads were under construction with very little signage or access instructions, a lot of restaurants appeared on the map but were in reality closed for good (not just for the season). In fact, we weren't able to find one with a terrace, to have lunch, and driving around is not an option -- the main street is always packed with cars back to back. We managed to visit the Cantacuzino Palace, but only because we got there before they opened -- it seems part of the Netflix series Wednesday was shot there, and now the palace has accrued the Netflix kind of fame. There were several huge busses filled with Ukrainian visitors at the gate. When we got out, after the visit, the queue was at least a hundred people long (and that's without counting the organized groups, they had separate access).

Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley.

Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley. Its relatively flat layout compared to nearby towns like Sinaia or Azuga does make it more walkable, especially for longer strolls without steep climbs. Being right at the foot of the Caraiman Peak with the Bucegi Mountains towering around gives it that dramatic, postcard-perfect backdrop. It's no wonder the town has become a favourite for both hikers and casual visitors alike. If you're up for it, the hike or cable car up to the Heroes’ Cross on Caraiman is well worth the effort—stunning views from up there.

If you're visiting to go see the mountains this is a great place. If you're looking for a city to walk through and do stuff in, it's almost useless. You can find good food, sure. But nothing to do in the city, per say. The attraction comes from the amazing mountain routes.

Beautiful Bucegi mountains views everywhere!

Beautiful Bucegi mountains views everywhere! That's why people come here! But you have to put up with bad traffic, especially weekends! It can be a great hub for quick trips around to Sinaia, Predeal, Brasov and of course Bran Castle! Good food to be had, @ La Etaj, Casa Ancutei, Casa Magical!

A great gateway for the weekends, very close to Bucharest.

A great gateway for the weekends, very close to Bucharest. Excellent to go by train and very enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting Cantacuzino palace and taking a TransBucegi day to see the Ialomicioarei Cave and church.

Quite big apartment with 2 bedrooms, each with double bed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook for a family. Close by to nevermore academy castle and 15 mins walk to the main Busteni street , which was very convenient. We had a porch which goes out to a small garden and a river. Having your morning coffee with the mountains sight and flowing river sounds is a great start of the day!

Hotel Valedor Boutique & Spa was a lovely Hotel in Busteni. We stayed for several nights and had good nights sleep. Beds were comfy, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good with great service. Parking was easy. The swimming pool in the spa was amazing, we preferred swimming while there was a second pool for people who wanted to relax.

The view was amazing, the house was really nice, had many things to accomodate us, was clean and enough space. We loved the balcony and the view, with the river and silence. Also, it was just 10 min walk from the centre of Busteni. We will return for sure.
