Vinhais is a wonderful old town with a spectacular view out...
Vinhais is a wonderful old town with a spectacular view out over the valley. I loved all the details on the buildings (a photographer's delight) and the town atmosphere with people gathering to chat in the square. I wish we'd stayed longer and taken a walk up (or maybe down!) the boardwalk that wraps around the edge of the valley. We stopped for a delicious Portuguese tart at the bakery.

A wonderful place, great facilities, perfectly clean and the service was very welcoming. The breakfast was lovely too. It is a nice quiet, safe neighbourhood in Vinhais - a town at the centre of tras-os-montes. I will stay again!

Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. If you want peace and a beautiful view, the hotel is ideal for you. The rooms are clean, plenty of parking space, a pleasant town.

Friendly staff, comfortable room.
Continental breakfast .... first class.
Will stay again when chance comes to go back to Vinhais
