Very new beautifully rénovation of a typical house in the village. Great design and beautiful Material used. Very comfortable. The staff was taking exceptional care. The breakfast was very generous with exceptional good quality produce. The air conditioning worked well as a heatwave was rolling over the country. We had a little balcony which overlooked the river and sea. Just lovely. We loved our stay and hope to be back.

Everything!!! Simply magical place, sourrounded by nature and far away from touristic crowds, very authentic and local, the owners are super nice and even let us stay a bit longer in the room, since our flight was late in the evening. The breakfast is also amazing, the most varied we tried in Portugal. We also found a super nice restaurant nearby that had the best seafood so leaving it as a recommendation as well - Restaurante T’Avont.

The hosts were amazing and we just loved how much effort they put in to every detail. Breakfast was better than going out for breakfast. Small Tapas with a Gazpacho like drink were served on arrival and we felt very at home. Also lovely pool with towels available :)

Location was great as it was near to the supermarket and the beach. The apartment was well stocked with crockery and utensils and it was great to be provided with dishwasher tablets. It was a lovely size. Perfect for a family of four.

    Everything was amazing we were family if 6 with baby and I was so worried how am I gina manage to wean the baby as he is on solid now I opened the cabinets I saw hand mixer and everything whatever you needed in a family home was available from dish washing liquid to salt and vinegar, I’m 100% going back and recommending this place 👌my kids love it and best part was the beach was just walking distance from our place it was lovely, April weather is absolutely amazing and latterly we eat grilled fish everyday from manta rota their roballo seabass and salmon was amazing with decent prices and also the supermarket was just around corner you can find everything 👌we really enjoyed our stay and time there thanks again Numar residence for providing the facility and guiding us around

    An industrious little town that is friendly and convenient...

    An industrious little town that is friendly and convenient to lovely beaches and scenery. The restaurants and bars are friendly and excellent value. An ideal location to base yourself, which is why we returned 25 years after having had our honeymoon there. We will revisit in the next 24 months and perhaps consider retiring to here.

    Beach was not great as did not even have toilets. There was no view from the property, no deck chairs for use and generally disappointing. I would not recommend this place. Only one (quite expensive) restaurant near the premises. You need to have a car (parking spot does not have any shade) if staying there. No tourist info available.

    Passionate Golfers rip off

    Passionate Golfers rip off I totally agree that this place is extraordinary, speaking about the course and the rooms. Top level - for a top price. One of the best courses i ever played worldwide What is mediocre to low is the restaurant the grill , as its needs urgently renovation and the food is way overpriced for the quality. You have to leave the resort with a car/taxi to find an alternative -as the other restaurants inside ( Vista) charges min 150 Euros per menu. What made me mad is that you have to pay extra - if you want to exercise at the range and hit long shots, after ! your round (before is max one hour allowed).So even being a guest at that place , and paying the greenfee for your round , you have to pay extra 25 Euros , for one hour, so if you are an ambitious player you might have to pay 50-75 Euros extra on top of the green fee just for using the range afterwards. This i call a greedy rip off . Especially as we were not informed before about this - booking the rooms and tee times it should be written , as its quite unusual. And you don’t find it on the website not even the the price for the greenfee. I wanted to discuss this with the director of golf , Darren Griffith - explained the situation at the front desk , but never got a call back or a message. This shows me that they are more interested in glamour and image of the place , but not in real service to their guests. But as most guests are average 70 and older , the willingness to complain gets smaller to low.

    The comfort and ambience of the hotel. The ' family-run' feel and pride in the property. The suites and all areas of the property are all beautifully decorated & curated. Food is exceptional, wonderful breakfast and take the time to enjoy the 'Surprise menu' evening meal, it is so worth it! All staff are attentive, discreet, friendly. The housekeeping team do an amazing job and the turn down service each evening just creates the most romantic atmosphere, with tealights lit every night.

    The room was absolutely Amazing All of he staff were totally outstanding very friendly very helpful and went out of their way to assist. Thank you again for all your help. It's 25- 30+min brisk walk to the beach or a very cheap 5min uber ride there. Also there's a hidden treasure in that The Hotel surrounded by a fruit orchard. 3min walk away to local Restaurants. Its a hidden gem in the Algarve. Would love to visit again 😊

    I recently stayed at Villa Monte Rei Golf in Vila Nova de Cacela, and it was nothing short of amazing! The highlight was definitely the outdoor area. Inside, the villa was just as impressive. Each of the four bedrooms was spacious and well-appointed, and having five bathrooms meant there was never a wait! We can’t wait to return!
