The accommodation was superb! We stayed for five nights and would more than gladly recommend it to anyone. It’s located in a beautifully renovated monastery-style building. The whole place is spacious, and you can explore everywhere freely. There are multiple balconies where you can relax, and you can even climb up to the roof to enjoy the nice views. The room we stayed in was spacious and had everything we needed. Hand towels, shower towels, and even pool towels were provided and changed daily. Breakfast was included and featured delicious local vegetarian dishes. There were also homegrown bananas and pineapples that were incredibly sweet and delicious. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall, this is an amazing place to stay — absolutely worth it!

    It is a beautiful and historic building with so much character. It has calm and peaceful seating areas throughout where you can sit in comfort. They have the best breakfast and we relied on the banana for a snack as we were out and about during the day. This location is perfect for exploring the island as it is centrally located. We will definitely be back

    Very good location for island tours.

    Very good location for island tours. There are interesting natural and historical sights nearby. Here you will find the factory of traditional Queijadas, here you can have tea or coffee . Also a port with the possibility of boat trips.

    We loved staying in this special and beautiful house.

    We loved staying in this special and beautiful house. Everything was perfect and it felt like home. We had a nice bbq in the very well kept garden, cooked meals in the complete kitchen and watched a film by the fireplace in the living room. We ate bananas that the kind neighbours offered us. We have stayed in a lot of different places all over the world but this is the house that we would always want to live in. Dear Pedro and family, thank you!

    This village is in a wonderful location to explore the island if you have a car. It sits right on the water and has several wonderful restaurants and a marina with opportunities for activities like boating or snorkeling. It is not a location for shopping, but go into the city for that!

    Stayed two days. Lots to do around the island Did not see the town but on the way from Furnas asked to driver to see the church high up on the hill - our Lady of Peace. Very special and spectacular view

    This place was where we took or whale watching excursion which was awesome. Saw so many dolphins at 1 time. I got great pics of dolphins in mid flight out of the water as they were playful and showing off some.

    A wonderful B&B. We stayed 6 nights and would have been happy staying much longer. The breakfast is delicious, with eggs cooked to order, and they are open to requests, such as adding vegetable omelets or porriage to the menu. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff is very helpful with all types of advice. We could walk out to the water and to shops and restaurants. Much better than the TripAdviser #1-rated-hotel-on-the-island where we stayed later on.

    Excellent place on the seashore with a large and lovely park around the hotel, including a lovely pool. Magnificent seaview from the room; very well equipped room, cleanliness without any doubt. Very friendly and helpful personnel, great buffet breakfast with many regional products.
