Stayed one night, wished I had booked a week! First time in years I experienced the feeling of being totally relaxed/chilled. Evening meal and breakfast totally amazing. Ideal stopover between Lisbon and Faro. 1000% recommend.

Duarte very helpfull with his eating recommendations. Professional and bends over backwards to help. Little restaurant around the corner with great food and ambiance. Torrao itself was luuurvley.

The hosts Susy and Jorge are phenomenally welcoming. The house is perfect and the garden is a delight. Torrão is a really welcoming town with very friendly people. For a small town it has 5 restaurants and at least 10 other bars and cafes. There are some great walks from the house.

The Green House was truly spectacular. We stayed here with a group for a full week and loved everything about it. Set in a sleepy village in the middle of the Portuguese countryside it takes inspiration from the local area and local tradition but makes it more refined. It epitomizes quiet luxury, with elegant and tasteful decor (it takes farmhouse chic to a whole new level), a beautiful pool, and a delightful outdoor dining area where you can savor the in-house chef's amazing food and their spectacular wine selection, from morning until night. At the Green House, you can do as much or as little as you like. Want to go for a bike ride and explore the countryside? Fancy exploring some of the absolutely superb local vineyards or restaurants? Want to have a kayaking or beach day? Or just fancy lying by the pool with a cocktail in hand? The team at the Green House was always ready to help, giving us ideas and insider tips about this lovely, undiscovered region of Portugal. And that is what makes this place really special - the service. Nothing was a problem for the team. They were dedicated to making our group's stay as special as possible, not only providing suggestions but also helping us with all the logistics to ensure every part of our trip was magical. The Alentejo is still a true undiscovered gem and with the team's help, we learned so much more about it than er ever could have imagined. While the hotel is fairly new, the owners draw on their many years of experience at the sister hotel Santiago de Alfama in Lisbon (where I have stayed several times) and you could tell. The same attention to detail and excellent service are reflected in this charming countryside oasis. An absolute must if you head to the Alentejo.

The surroundings where beautiful Relaxing peaceful & quite as the accommodation is quite isolated Bedrooms where comfortable with great a/c Anika the owner was lovely and helpful

The spa and the swimming pool were a plus and the area in general is a great place to go and relax. Really recommend it!
