The host was super efficient and friendly. The apartment was clean, spacious and modern with a lot of natural light and ventilation. Good linen. Lots of special touches through out the apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of character with a super modern bathroom. The whole experience was just such a delight. This is not only a comfortable place to stay and sleep but also a gorgeous place to wake up. Tomar is a safe and clean city and not as busy and touristic as a lot of other places we visited. We would really go out of our way to stay in this apartment again on our next trip to Portugal. Parking was right outside the entrance.

This is an exceptional property located in the old city center couldn’t believe my car was actually taking me down these narrow roads to find it. But once we did unloaded our stuff and the place was immaculate, nicely laid out & front door is exceptional. I highly recommend this place if you just want a refrigerator, a little stove and a nice quiet place to spend a few days.

Tomar is a beautiful city, with several interesting locations and cafeterias. There're plenty of free parking lots near Letreiro "Tomar". Sure, the Convent and its gardens are important places to visit, but it's better to go there by car if you have one. Also, A Moagem - Fábrica das artes and around it. Parque do Mouchão is great for taking a walk or sitting with a drink on the bank. For food, I recommend Insensato Café-Livraria, and Le P'tit Français for French croissants.

We spent one night here on our way from Lisbon to Porto. 1 night was the perfect amount of time to tour the Knights of Templar snd Christ Convent. I appreciated that the hotel was able to book a car service to take us to Porto the next day.

Having a walking tour and a tour of the Covento with Monica...

Having a walking tour and a tour of the Covento with Monica from GuruWalk is highly recommended. She was brilliant and really enhanced our stay by showing us small things we would never have noticed. Tomar is a very pretty Portuguese town. Nearby are the monastaries of Alcobaca and Batalha both world heritage sites and easy to visit. Tomar was a great base for our visit.

Stayed one night to visit the Convent of Christ and Knights of Templar castle. It was a quaint and lovely town and a nice contrast after coming from Lisbon and a nice overnight stay on our way to Porto. The Convent and Castle were definitely worth seeing.

Room, location, cleanliness, breakfast and staff courtesy where excellent. Only drawback was the Wi-Fi connection. The only network with sufficiently strong signal was the one shared with the TV, which required a new setup (new password) to connect to the Wi-Fi every time the TV was turned off (like when we left the room).

A small city with an impressive history.

A small city with an impressive history. The Templars castle, church, convent above all. A great number of historical buildings well restored, some with new functions like gallery. Very special Santa Maria do Olival on the other river side and hidden in a small street the synagogue.

We have stay in the hotel just one night, we liked it very much. The hotel is located in the very center of Tomar, with a beautiful view on the main square. We got a welcome drink in the bar on the square. The room was very nice, clean and the bed was confortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast delicious. It is worth to see the staircase, there are pictures of well know people who visited the hotel, among Portugese who we were not familiar with there we pictures of a few Holywood stars as well.

The hotel is located in a small and characteristic street in the center of Tomar. The area is not noisy. The building is newly renovated and it shows a lot of the old features, such as part of the old floor in the reception area. The building has a lot of style and character. The room is large and well equipped. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady at the reception and this added a plus to the full experience. A very nice place to spend a holiday in Tomar

One of the best hotel in Portugal. The SPA clean and nice organised. The rooms!:plant of charm with the all modern facilities. The team was great, specialy Patricia who was a profesional host and charming woman . Cloth to the center of Thomar, in the middle of a nice park, great place to spend time.

Good location in the old town so short walk around and to/from train station; had the essentials in the room; staff were friendly; there was a festival on which created a great vibe in Tomar; and didn't have to carry a room key as they have codes for entry hotel and rooms 👍
