Staff was really helpful and gave great info and directions on the area. We had dinner both nights at the hotel and it was all really good. The view from the room is amazing and the area around the hotel is really quite.

The service has been consistent over the years, the team really does love their work and their job, you can tell from the passion and warmth they serve. Louis - one of the OG sommeliers/manager and his colleague were fantastic - trying to recreate the best steak I've had at their property over 3 years ago. We say that time changes everyone, but I'm so glad to see that Six Senses remains exceptionally well run ~ please don't ever change that part! Also had a really enjoyable and dare I say life altering Osteopath Massage session - learnt a lot from my body and Lorenzo really did make my spine feel looser. Thank you!

First and foremost, your beautiful establishment and grounds and the incredible views! In addition, the staff was very accommodating and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious - from the charcuterie board when we arrived to our dinner in the dining room as well as the incredible breakfast buffet! This was our third time staying in your hotel and, hopefully, not the last!!

The hotel itself is simple, but has everything you need, and that for a good price. The staff is very kind and friendly. The hotel is very near to several supermarkets. All in all a good pick!

The complex includes a number of wonderful houses surrounded by fruit trees with an impressive view on the surroundings. Great friendly and helpfull staff at reception and in the restaurant. Your really feel a valued traveller. All houses have their own space /terrace with comfortable seats. There is a big garden with lemon trees, a nice swimming pool, and plenty of space for people, that want to sunbath. The place is a great starting point for trips to interesting cities, that can be reached within approximately 30-50 minutes. The trips in itself are a wonderful experience.

When we arrived, we were met by the hostess of the quinta, Helena. She walked us through the main floor entrance area, explaining the history of the building with pride. I almost cried as I walked around: it was breathtaking! We could feel the love of Helena & Ricardo everywhere within their home. Such attention to detail, and the details were plentiful! Everywhere you turned, there was something that caught our eyes. As we had arrived late in the day, we were exhausted and starving. We asked if it was possible to get something to eat. The most beautiful charcuterie board was made up for us, and an outstanding wine was recommended by their charming & humourous sommelier/maitre d'/server, Johan! The wine was so great that we took a 2nd bottle up to our room for a nightcap. Our room was beautiful & comfortable, complete with a terrace outside that led to the infinity pool. The pool overlooked the valley, adding another level of beauty to our stay. The breakfasts were varied, fresh and plentiful! Such a great selection, from amazing fresh breads, farm fresh yogourt, eggs done to your liking, artisanal cheeses, homemade granola, beautiful fresh fruit, incredible fresh orange juice...I could go on and on and on.....!!!!! The property is vast: we took a long walk up the paths & terraces to new heights overlooking their little piece of heaven. The views all around were so incredibly peaceful & beautiful! This was the last stop on our journey through Portugal and definitely our favourite! Sometimes you meet people on your journey who you just connect with. Helena & Ricardo are 2 of those special people to us, becoming instant friends. They are truly the heart & soul of Quinta de Travassinhos.
