I almost don’t want to say how good it was as I want to keep it to myself. The view is fabulous but also just the peace and the way it is set up. A slice of heaven and I would have stayed a lot longer if I could have. The huge breakfast that was delivered at 8.00 was just the cherry on top, perfect to have it just dropped off in a basket so you could have it when you wanted and outside on the stone table

Beautiful charming facilities. The gardens and the buildings were so well taken care off 😍 The staff was extra helpful. Also, we had dinner at the restaurant and the food/wine was absolutely delicious and local. Loved every second of our stay!

Dinner and breakfast excellent. finish and quality of property first rate and a tribute to Christina and Antonio who, together with their son Eduardo, make excellent hosts. Only booked one night but would have stayed longer if itinary allowed. Plenty of free parking around as hotel is part of a small village. I classified location as good only because access roads are fairly precipitous. Otherwise location is superb. Eduardo provided transport to a local quinta for a visit and tasting at no extra cost. A true family business who cares!

Everything was absolutely fabulous. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The linen and towels were excellent. The location is great, being a short walk from the station. We were lucky enough to find a room available at this place. Due to our own miscalculation, we arrived in Pinhao a day early, and the Dorigem rooms came to our rescue. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was pleasant. Paula even came and picked us up from the station when all the taxis in town were unavailable. When we arrived at the property, we were treated to one of the best views in the Douro valley and a truly warm welcome from the rest of the staff. The room is on an active vineyard and olive tree orchard. The room itself is modern, stylish, and clean . The bed is very comfortable. It is in a fairly isolated location, so the staff prepared tapas for our dinner. They then left at 6 pm, leaving us on our own in this majestic property. Breakfast was tremendous with produce from the farm. We particularly enjoyed the pumpkin jam made by the owner's sister.

Lovely little house with lots of thoughtful extras such as milk, water, butter, biscuits, cakes etc. Very good attention to detail - the hairdryer broke in the evening and the next day it was replaced. Very close to the river, boats, restaurants etc and just a short walk from the train staton.
