The location is beautiful and Dona Laura was amazing and looked after us so well. She was able to tell us the history of the house and village and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts she made as well. We would love to return again in the future and bring some of our family also.

We wanted somewhere very quiet and easily accessible. It was also very luxurious and had a lot of extra facilities, including a pool and sauna (10 euros). It is quite close to the mountain top village of Monsanto, which is incredibly beautiful and amazing .

This renovated stone structure into a beautifully appointed 8 room boutique hotel was perfection! Such a relaxing setting looking out to a gorgeous infinity pool with olive trees and unobstructed landscape for miles. Stefano and Katarina were lovely host. They went out of there way to make our stay one of the best stays of 9 location. We didn't make reservations one night and texted them out on the road and they found us a lovely restaurant in the next town over. You will not be disappointed!!

This is where we relaxed during our busy trip through Portugal, so relaxing! The property is beautiful and the buildings are outstanding. A beautiful old cottage in the heart of the village. Our host Eloísa was most welcoming and carried our luggage in her little electric car around the steep and narrow lanes to the house. She brought breakfast and also a delicious homemade sopa de Bacalhau.
