The hotel is very nice. The pool from the room was heated and a very nice experience. The breakfast was very good, with a big buffet, better than other places on the island. Also the restaurant, has very good food, but a bit pricey.

Such a dreamy house and location! Maria and Tony were wonderful hosts, available for all our needs and very knowledgeable about the local area. The house and grounds are beautifully maintained and the bed is one of the comfiest I've ever slept in at a guest house. Honestly couldn't have asked for more, highly recommend this place.

It was perfect place for us as a couple. We loved their cats and beautiful dog. Place is close to Furnas which is nice if you are planning to go there. Everything was clean and nice. There is a nice terasse to sit outside with an ocean view. It is humid, but all the island is humid, so nothing to complain about.

Pretty much everything; it is a beautifully refurbished and stylish house, with all modern appliances, including air conditioning; it has a large car parking on site; easiest check-in and check-out we have experienced as it is through a digital code/ locking systems; bedroom furniture is lovely with a mixture of modern and old; location is superb in the hot spring area (caldeira) of Furnas and at walking distance to the village centre; great views to hot-springs and the mountains. The house is like a 5 star hotel!

Very cozy place, unique! You will have the feeling like you are at the land's end. Nice and tranquille place. I very much recommend with both my thums up! If you have time, go down the road, which changes to the trail. It will lead to the stony beach and a small waterfall...Worth exploring! Both ways take about 1hr.
