The property has excellent facilities with excellent finishes, all thought out in detail. It is located in a calm and peaceful place, with good access. We only stayed one night but we will definitely be back very soon. We were welcomed by the owners who are very kind and welcoming.

We were a group of 3 girls and had the bungalow with the private jacuzzi. We really enjoyed the stay! It was very clean, Luise explained everything and was very friendly, although she didn’t speak any English, but it worked well with a translation app! Fully equipped kitchen outside, bathroom with shower, WC (glass door was quite unusal at first :D). Breakfast delivered by Luise in a basket with juice, jam, hot milk, bread, cheese + sausage. Private parking. Cats and horses living there. Free WiFi. We liked it! You can see the love they put in this place. Still a little under construction but worth a visit!

A fantastic short break. For the price, you would struggle to find anything better in terms of a hotel/spa experience. Very easy to get to from Porto, what really makes the place special is the staff, who made our whole experience as welcoming and comfortable as it could possibly be

It does look like (and is probably meant as) a private sex place with hourly rates and such (you don't even see any personnel and there are no common areas), but it is in fact a pretty good hotel for a totally legitimate open-minded couple as ourselves as well (or for a single traveler, for that matter), and having a private garage with direct access to your room is very convenient when you travel by car. It's clean and comfortable, the interior does not look or feel cheap, and all the details, the lighting, the mirrors, the bubble massage bathtub and the music do help create a romantic and sexy atmosphere. We totally enjoyed the stay and the sexy vibe. The breakfast was also very good.

A really wonderful place to stay, a great welcome with a complimentary Port wine & a beer. Offer to collect in town and return next morning to Camino route. Beautiful gardens and a relaxing swimming pool on a really hot day. Kitchen well equipped, lovely bedroom and bathroom.

Casa do Engenho was a big surprise. We didn't expect such a lovely experience. Maria, the owner, the Host and hospitality genius of this place, will make you comfortable from the first minute. You feel from the very first moment that you are at home. The ambiance is cozy and the rooms are clean. Plenty of space to rest and a fantastic natural ambience. Maria had suggestions for dinner and because we didn't have the opportunity to drive, she brought us to the restaurant... A good one! Breakfast was amazing and the fireplace was on. Maria you are an angel. Thank you
