It felt like one of the best bookings we have done so far in our years of travel, a perfect modern-looking hotel, with good amenities, and was a very good deal. During the day we took the time exploring the hidden beaches in Setubal (Praia de Galapinhos is highly recommended), so evening was spent exploring this unique historical property that extends back to the period of Islamic occupation. What a fabulous experience being able to stay in the convent and wander about the castle. One of our favorite stays in Portugal.

The staff was very welcoming when we arrived and made our check-in a breeze. The entire hotel is modern and very clean, as was our room. The area is very quiet at night and has plenty of parking at the lot across from the hotel, which is free. In the morning I had breakfast on the outdoor patio and enjoyed the free Wi-Fi, which had good bandwidth. It was good value for the money.
