Our Upon Villa Hotel was beautiful! My sister and I enjoyed 10 days there. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The manager of the hotel was friendly, competent person and the working atmosphere in the hotel is really fantastic. Positive energy, peace and smiles. Our room was super clean, beautifully furnished with the most confortable beds I have ever had in a hotel! The bathroom was beautiful & white clean towels+towels for the pool time. The personnel who maintained the rooms were kind and we could always ask for more towels and whatever else we needed. Our room was on the 1st floor with a lovely view of the river Tejo which reminded us of the sea. We had a wonderful rest and slept great, it was quiet outside at night. The pool on the roof terrace of the hotel is great, nice terrace and bar where you can enjoy magical sunsets. We loved breakfast, which was versatile and more like a brunch. We are vegan and had a great selection of fresh fruits (papaya, pineapple, melon, grapes...), vegetables, as well as various cereals, fresh juices, teas, coffee and more. The breakfast personnel was so friendly and professional, we especially liked Faisal Ali and Amanda. :) By the way, Alcochete is a charming old little town with interesting history, very traditional with soul. You can find nice places to drink or eat, as well as bars on the beach. Public transport: We were only half an hour away from Lisbon by bus or car. Just around the corner from our hotel are bus stations to Lisbon and Setubal, as well as other places nearby. Buses are cheap, clean and uncomplicated choice. Taxi is also not expensive, we often took taxi especially in Lisbon to visit interesting parts of the city. You have to visit Cascais and Setubal, the beaches are magical! It was a delight! All the staff we met were immensely friendly, from the german speaking lady at the reception to wonderful Mr. Mirino Correia, creating an unforgettable breakfast experience in the sun at the pool. We would have loved to stay longer!

The two-star hotel provided a very pleasant and welcoming experience, with exceptionally friendly staff. Mrs. Carlos at reception and the two cleaning ladies were particularly helpful during an unexpected situation, for which I am deeply grateful. I certainly plan to return in the future.
