We stayed in Porto for three nights and, from the moment we arrived, felt warmly welcomed. The staff were extremely professional, providing us with detailed information about the city, offering excellent recommendations, and even greeting us with a welcome drink—a gesture we truly appreciated. The room was impeccable: spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The shower’s water pressure was excellent, which made our stay even more comfortable. Additionally, the housekeeping team did an exceptional job, ensuring everything was maintained to perfection. Regarding the hotel’s location, it is extremely convenient, being close to the metro station and offering easy access to all the tourist attractions. It’s also worth noting that the area is quiet and safe, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Overall, a highly recommended experience—we would return without hesitation!

The hotel is brand new and has opened just few weeks before our arrival. You could feel the luxury and high quality everywhere. Everything was shiny and staff was super nice. We had an excellent room. We stayed in this hotel for a week and enjoyed every bit of it, including the pool, restaurant and breakfast. Absolutely lovely hotel!

    I liked the hotel,the city has a very interesting story.

    I liked the hotel,the city has a very interesting story. Lot of interesting houses, took a very nice bike tour along the river. Had mostly a very good food ( Nola kitchen, Honest green) and some very good coffee houses. ( put “ flat white near me” in Google map and you will find a good coffee) Cheaper than many cities in Europe. Thanks Porto ❤️

    I would not recommend Porto to anyone with mobility issues, as wherever you go in the city there are steep hills. The Rebeira district (basically the old town by the river) is nice, with cafes, bars and restaurants. The south side of the river there are the warehouses of the port companies. There is also a food court on that side of the river. Good views from the top level of the Dom Luis I bridge. I had some really nice red wine in a restaurant. I recommend a Port tasting session in the Tourist Information place. It was very informative and enjoyable. I really liked Porto.

    A very walkable city.

    A very walkable city. Take the hop on and off too but plan to buy the tickets so you have 48-hours to spend it. Take the Douro Valley tours, if you can spare the time. Very friendly people. Helpful and one feels safe in Porto.

    Port is an old city, on a busy river.

    Port is an old city, on a busy river. It’s a tale of two locations; a busling city on the river with an out of town beach front. It’s very compact, very hilly but it has some stunning buildings, Little alleys, waterfront restaurants, Lots of opportunities to see and do- 6 bridge river cruise is an excellent way to see the city from a different angle and a no1 Tram to the beach with promenade is so relaxing.

    It is a wonderful city.

    It is a wonderful city. Though there where some temporary constraints caused by the construction of a new metro line, but it was still easy and safe to move around the city. I enjoyed the city tour with a tuk-tuk and walking and jogging along the river. Shopping was also an easy and great experience. People were all cordial. FS

    Great 5* hotel in the center of Porto. 2 min walk to the top level of the bridge Ponte Luis. If you are short in time, and want to explore Porto, this is your best option. We visited for one last night in Portugal with 3 kids and one dog. The hotel is pet friendly!!! We also get bowls and bed for our dog. The room was very big. Beds were super comfortable!!!     Room select hotel is quite well located as you can walk to the shopping area in Porto and walking to the center is still manageable. The hotel has a small parking, this is in an advantage if you are traveling in Portugal by car as driving in Porto is a nightmare and getting out of the city not easy. The employees at reception were helpful and friendly.
