It was an absolutely quiet location, somewhere hidden in a small dead-end street, with the atmosphere of a house more than of a hotel. The different levels provided a cosy atmosphere. The swimming pool was also nice. You could also park the car on the premises. What we really liked was the flexibility and kindness of the owners. Unfortunately our car broke down, could not be repaired and we were being repatriated. So instead of 2 nights we were forced to stay for a few more nights, and the owners were so kind to accommodate us although we did not know how long we had to stay on. They were prepared to store the car at the hotel until it was to be towed. So thank you for this customer friendly attitude!

Great hotel near the University Do Minho: you can get there in 10-15 munutes on foot. The hotel is bran new. The rooms are nicely furnished and super clean. Fantastic breakfast. I can also recommend the restaurant fro dinner. There is a park behind the hotel for those who like to jog.

First of all the staff. All of them kind and helpful. The hotel grounds are comfortable and stately, an old hospital converted into a wonderful hotel. The hotel is located at the beginning of the walk in the historic center, at the beginning of the pedestrian streets. The breakfast is rich and with local flavors. Facilities include swimming pools, and this is one of the hotel's positives. Everything was wonderful. We left completely satisfied!
