The host Uiara was super kind and accommodating. When we arrived she already had our rooms and the common area comfortable with heating (it was cold out) and she let us keep our bikes inside the main house. The breakfast was the most impressive I've had a hotel in Portugal, it was like a fancy restaurant spread.

i never saw such a place in my life, we were welcomed by lots of lovely dogs when we arrived in the evening but the real surprise was the next day as all the animals were free around the farm, horses, donkeys, sheeps, goats, chickens, pigs…It is like living together with them as roommates so heart warming experience! We were expecting a room and we had a big area just for ourselves, with a hommock, games and a kitchenette with authentic, handmade, beautiful decoration. The breakfast brought in a picnic basket was so delicious and it was even adapted to our requests. And the most important factor that made us feel home was of course Claudia and her husband. We had such a warm welcome, we felt as if we were at friends’ house! She made us taste the famous moscatel from Setubal and she left the bottle to us as we liked it a lot! Overall we stayed only 2 nights but it felt like a long relaxing holiday, we will be back for sure!
