Very polite, friendly staff, always greeting and smiling Clean, spacious room, with the light waiting for us Carpet on the floor, nice furniture, great bed, enough surfaces to put everything a traveler may need Warm room and excellent ventilation in the bathroom You can see the ocean while chilling on the divan Bathtub, bathrobes, quality shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, smelling nicely; many towels Two sinks and enough space around them, paper napkins Window in between bathroom and the bedroom (with the blinds) - just a spicy detail! Good soundproofing (we could only hear the sounds through the room door) Versatile breakfast, enough (simple) vegan options Nearly no birdman (the man/woman with the wild predator bird hanging around), only a glimpse seen (bird exploitation sucks) Enjoyable design of the hotel, live music at the bar, game room with chess tables Each guest has their own key card Recycling bin Good location Price to quality ratio is superb

I stayed in a premium room on the third floor during a solo work trip. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a lovely view. The à la carte breakfast was excellent, offering high-quality products and great service. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring Funchal on foot, with numerous excellent restaurants nearby. A perfect choice for a business stay — but I’d happily return for a holiday too. Highly recommended!

This is an excellent hotel. Quiet and private. The staff were amazing, where literally everyone was friendly, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. They each went out of their way to make it a memorable stay. The view from the suite, infinity pool and dining areas is absolutely incredible (and worth the higher price tag). To top it off, the daily all-inclusive breakfast and dining experience at Avista restaurant was fantastic. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The location is great and the hotel is very nice. Amazing breakfast, perfect with the rooftop pool and bar with very nice views of Funchal and the ocean. Also great with the Spa. I had a big and comfortable room with a kitchenette.
