This was one of the most amazing stays of our 3 week trip through Portugal. We've stayed in many places during our trip, so we had something to compare it to. I was impressed by the comfort, location, special coziness, which may not be visible in the photos. And we were even more impressed by the extremely hospitable reception, during which we received a gift bottle of wine, cheese, and homemade bread. We felt like coming home and really regretted that we only planned to stay at Peha Garcia for one day. The famous places, atmospheric streets and surroundings of this town are very beautiful. The nearby Monsanto is a must visit as well.

excellent house in Monsanto , nice balcony which can enjoy the sunset well equipped kitchen you can park the car in a square (outside the city) and walk around 8min to the house host is very responsive and give you instructions how to arrive the house Grandma and Grandpa are very nice, they made the fire for us keeping warm

A beautiful old cottage in the heart of the village. Our host Eloísa was most welcoming and carried our luggage in her little electric car around the steep and narrow lanes to the house. She brought breakfast and also a delicious homemade sopa de Bacalhau.
