This was a marvellous place. We went with three kids aged 8-12, and that was good, yet the hotel does value peace and quiet and relaxation. We were warmly welcomed every day, had excellent dinners and food overall, and were happy with price-quality balance. The hotel is also in a great location for hikes and trips to the Serra da Estrela, and overall we had a really great time.

The best experience we've had! The place is quiet and very considerate — here circular economy and sustainability and really taken seriously. The owner is such a great host! The breakfast features freshly baked bread, homemade jam and cheese, and is just amazing. If this place is available, book it immediately and you won't regret it.

This was a wonderful stay that went above and beyond our expectations. The room had a panoramic one way window with the view of the mountains, a sunny terasse, it was clean, big and comfortable. Outside, you can hear the gentle sound of the river. There is even a mini fridge and a coffee machine in the room. The breakfast was spectacular. For all the vegans out there, this was the first place in Portugal that offered vegan options. The host was also super nice and friendly. We had an amazing time.
