I know the village, as I was born and raised in another...
I know the village, as I was born and raised in another small village nearby, Seda. It has everything you need from shops to bank, pharmacies, swimming pool , cafes, petrol stations and it is very close to a main road, A23, which can take you everywhere in Portugal.
Perfect if you look for a place where you can switch off your brain from work for a few days. When there try a wonderful delicacy called Tecolameco, divine.

Hotel was great and the food in the restaurant marvelous. Very delicious and typical from that region, Alentejo.
Small pool yet very good. Good size for the number of rooms in the hotel.
Comfortable bedroom and hotel common rooms.
Will mark it as a regular 2 or 3 day yearly stays.

The building is very beautiful.
People are nice and very accessible.
Food was very good at the hotel, nice breakfast and we had dinner at the Hotel restaurant and it was very good as well.

Warm welcome Elizabeth couldnt do enough. Beautuful hotel 300 years old with stunning views at breakfast. Will definitely come back. Staff were so polite and helpful.
