We only stayed briefly, leaving early in the morning before breakfast, the hotel is only about 30 minutes from Lisbon airport. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the staff very helpful about getting us on the road at 600. Would definitely stay again.

Very pretty and huge property, with all possible necessary amenities. Confortable room, very good breakfast, excellent swimming pool, well furnished kitchen available, the whole property is super clean. Even better than the pictures. Plus the little attentions that make the stay even more enjoyable. Definitely recommended!

I wish we could have stayed longer! This place is a bit out of town (you need a car) but easy to find and quiet. The view of the countryside and Pena Palace are beautiful and calming. Our host was wonderfully welcoming and very helpful with multiple recommendations for local fare and activities. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was well equipped. A nice big TV and comfortable couches in the lounge are nice. All three bedrooms have soft linens and comfy beds.

The hosts were very friendly, english speaking and gave good recomnendations for sightseeing and walking tours in Sintra. Their breakfast was lovely with lots of homegrown ingredients. Super parking facility. We highly recomnend Galo Preto - Sintra Guesthouse.

Everything was just perfect! The manager, Douglas, was very helpful and shared all the important information without us even having to ask. The room was quite spacious, the bed was very large and comfortable, and the bathrobes were incredibly cozy. Breakfast was not only delicious but also beautifully presented—with a lot of heart and soul. Highly recommended!

Very professional and clean! The place is beautiful and the staff is great! Andre and especially Marcelo who welcomed us were of a precious help! Great advices to visit touristic spots and avoid bad experiences! They are super welcoming, they offered us to come back later and enjoy the pool, keep our luggages after check out,...
