Lovely property! Absolute sanctuary with beautiful gardens and a pool. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great. We slept very well (😉) - thanks Berta for all your hospitality! Some great restaurants close by. The in house wine bar was also amazing! Free easy parking also.

We stayed as a family with two children. Everything was just perfect and even more. House is freshly renovated and everything inside is new, very clean. Contact with the owner is outstanding, we did get all the answers to our questions immediately. Location of the house aslo is great, 15 min to airport and 20 min to Funchal. Nearby restaurant makes wonderful meals at a very affordable price. All around one of the best experiences we had! Definitely must book if it’s still available!

Very central but with a pool on the rooftop. This sums up how perfect this hotel was for us! We discovered Funchal city during mornings and relaxed at the pool side in the afternoon. Really nice place.

Every element of the hotel was top class, the variety of food in the restaurant, which changed daily, meant we were never disappointed. All the staff were super helpful, attentive and friendly. There was a shuttle bus n and out of Funchal, and we never failed to get the time we wanted, however as it was April, I’m not sure that would be the case in the height of summer. There is so much to see and do in Madeira, very impressed on our first visit to this Island, it won’t be our last!

    Camacha was about a 30-minute drive from Funchal and more elevated - and therefore noticeably colder than Funchal down on the coast. It wasn't the most scenic village I've ever stayed in, but it was out of the city and had a couple of great levadas nearby to explore. The main reason to stay here is the fantastic Quinta da Moschadinha and its sister restaurant.

    The surroundings are amazing.

    The surroundings are amazing. We said it's like "to enter fairy's garden" because of all the flowers blooming trees and charm of an older yet well maintained place. The people are friendly and even helped us out the first evening when all the shops were closed due to the curfew.
