The owner was very kind to us because we didn't have the car so she picked us up in the evening after the trip by ferry so it was easy and cheap to reach the place! The house was perfect with a complete kitchen where to cook (without a car it is quite difficult to go to the city for dinner, more or less 31 minutes by walking in a street where there are only cars). Everything was perfect during our stay!

This guest house was our favorite accommodation during our vacation on the azores. The check-in was super easy, it was very clean (it was cleaned every day) and the rooms were nice. The owner and staff were very friendly and gave us plenty of tips for exploring the island. The common area with the kitchen was very well equipped, there was even a crêpes maker and an orange press and an additional outdoor kitchen. There is enough space for the guests with different tables inside and outside. The outdoor area is also very beautiful, beautiful plants and a direct view of the sea. Everything was perfect and we would love to come back one day.

An absolutely amazing stay! The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of Pico Mountain. It’s conveniently close to small grocery shops and charming restaurants, making everything easily accessible. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to the day. We stayed in apartment E, which was more beautiful than in the pictures. There is no aircon but we asked for a fan and got one so it was good. The bed could be a bit more modern. This apartment kans a large Balcony and the view is stunning. Antonio is a great host and veri helpful.

Nice small hotel, reception is open. Staff is very nice. Nearby you find bars and restaurants, 2 minutes walk from main square, 5 minutes walk from marina. Room was small, but very clean and sufficient and with windows. Bathroom was OK, wi-fi was working OK. Cozy place when you stay in Velas. Free street parking is available. I would stay here again if in Velas!
