Super clean and comfortable for myself and young kids. Kids loved the room and being in the swimming pool. Will definitely stay again when we come back to visit Serpa.

This family run hotel is the best experience we have had in Portugal. Everything was beautiful the breakfast was perfect, the staff perfect, friendly lovely people, who have made this home for themselves and their guests. Lovely people, super clean hotel and room, great breakfast, 400 metres to the bus station, no stairs! My partner realised he had left his umbrella behind and the gentleman at reception quickly dropped it to us at the bus station (with a smile).

Located right in the middle of the town and castle, very nice place, friendly staff, ample breakfast was included. Cute town that really came to life in the morning hours. Also this town is on one branch of the Camino trail.

A recently renovated guest house in Selmes and within 35 km of Alqueva Dam, B&B Casa da Ponte Selmes Vidigueira features pool with a view, comfortable allergy-free rooms and free WiFi.

This was a brilliant stop over in the small town of Pias. I don't think that I could have had a warmer welcome from the property owner. I was travelling by motorcycle and the garage parking for the bike was superb. I was shown around the property and made to feel at home, my room was just right for an overnight stay and the shower was really good and just what I needed after a long hot day on the bike. The property itself is lovely and full of old fashioned and beautifull furniture. There's a nice share living room with TV etc for relaxing and the place has everything you need, including an area to sit out in the properties garden. There isn't a great deal in Pias, I would say it's quite a rural place but the welcome, facilities and superb parking for my bike made this a great stop over on my travels and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it and use it again if I was travelling that way. Breakfast was first class as well - there is nothing at all about this place and the welcome from the owner that I can fault. It really is very good.
