Very good price/quality value, especially for a new year's eve stay. Everything was brand new, clean and comfortable. Exactly like you see in the pictures! We didn't have a car (big mistake considering it was new year's eve), but there is ample parking in front of the house. The road might be a bit tricky for some people and I'd advise previewing it on google maps, because by default it will suggest narrow streets (which you can avoid and simply use the main road ER206).

Very central but with a pool on the rooftop. This sums up how perfect this hotel was for us! We discovered Funchal city during mornings and relaxed at the pool side in the afternoon. Really nice place.

Every element of the hotel was top class, the variety of food in the restaurant, which changed daily, meant we were never disappointed. All the staff were super helpful, attentive and friendly. There was a shuttle bus n and out of Funchal, and we never failed to get the time we wanted, however as it was April, I’m not sure that would be the case in the height of summer. There is so much to see and do in Madeira, very impressed on our first visit to this Island, it won’t be our last!

The level of cleanliness was absolutely exceptional. The staff in all departments could not be more friendly and professional. The whole hotel really caters for true relaxation and comfort from the comfy beds to the huge heated indoor pool to the roof top hot tub overlooking the port, the perfect location to watch the cruise liners come in and out and watch the sun go down. This was also topped off with the most incredible spa treatment
