Rooms were super comfortable and had all we needed. Everything is a walking distance so location is perfect. Even though it is in the city center on a busy street there was no noise in the room. Breakfast was tasty.

The room was lovely, shower great, bed comfortable, tv, and a small veranda to sit outside for a drink and a smoke (no smoking in the room) and well laid out. Breakfast was included in the price and plenty to eat and drink. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The hotel is very good value for money and would definitely stay here again!!

    Szczecin has a very walkable old town area.

    Szczecin has a very walkable old town area. The Tourist information has done a good job of promoting the sites by the red line you can follow all around the city. We enjoyed discovering all these places. It was also easy to catch a train to Wolin to see the Viking settlement.

    Szczecin is a city of wide streets with a lot of parks and some beautiful old building which have been re novated. The river Odra provide an extra attraction. You can book yourself a trip on a boat, on a river and towards the lake Dabie. The route is very attractive: you can see a lot of nice unusual birds and beautiful greenery. Also, you can arrange for yourself a trip to the Baltic Sea or the attractive island Wolin. The city has some good shops or shopping centres like Galaxy or Kaskada. It is worthy visiting a very popular Park Kasprowicza with it's lake and Summer Theatre and a famous, new building of Opera.

    Not much of interest from a tourists persective.

    Not much of interest from a tourists persective. There's the Ducal palace and the old market square to look at. And the area around Grunwaldzki square is quite atmospheric due to a lot of nice old tenement houses.

    Szczecin is not very Polish in its atmosphere- it is more...

    Szczecin is not very Polish in its atmosphere- it is more like being in a European City that could have been anywhere. Much fewer Churches than any other Polish City- mostly closed, and Cathedral under renovation and dust sheets. Very few Polish restaurants- lots of other cuisines but not Polish. This is not really a tourist city. They have made nothing of the River frontage on the Oder, unlike Gdansk. Lots of brand new shopping plazas but hardly any individual interesting shops in the city. The Stare Miasto is a dull disappointment. Great tram and bus network , and brilliant central station. The local football team, Pogon is superb, and its supporters are brilliant.

    Szczecin is not a "top" destination for travellers who just...

    Szczecin is not a "top" destination for travellers who just want a short (2/3/4 day) break. Whilst interesting, it doesnt have the charm of Krakow, Gdansk, Vilnius, Bergen, Kaunas, etc. There are some very interesting buildings and museums, but it is clearly a working City rather than a tourist destination city. Warsaw has more to offer. As a finla example, there is only a single "tourist trap" souvenir shop - and it's full of cheap plastic items that are likely to remain in the shop rather than leave it!

    The traffic in Szczecin became worse over the last years but Szczecin is a beautiful city with a lot of history, the German history but also the Polish history. Very good places to eat and drink like on the Waly Chrobrego/Hakenterasse.

    Amazing experience after 2 nights stay in Park Hotel. Very cozy SPA area, clean and nice rooms and very good breakfasts! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is uncomparable since you are in the city centre and in the middle of the park at the same time. Highly recommended!
