The hotel was situated in the city. Once we were finished with out outings, we could park our car and walk around the city. The breakfast was very nice with a variety of foods. In the evening we used the hotel restaraunt which was very good and the prices were very reasonable. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful in getting us situated and recommending local dishes to order for our meal.

The accommodation is very new, beautifully designed, super clean. It is spacey, all the rooms have good lighting. The kitchen is fully equipped, actually the entire flat is fully equiped lile home. Dino supermarket is 5-minute walking distance. Parking is available in the street, free of charge. Host is very friendly and helpful. They also welcomed our 2 dogs, dog beds, bowls, treat amd toy was also provoded which was a very nice surprise. I highly recommend this place, we had a very nice time in it. :)

Magical place with top notch maintenance. Arriving there and walking around you lose yourself in another time. Beautiful grounds, atmosphere. Staff waived my breakfast fee when I left earlier than expected despite having it booked so excellent service as well. Playground available, paths for a nice walk too... Just a fantastic way to escape the busy working life.

This is a very provincial border town.

This is a very provincial border town. It’s the end of the rail line. The old town areas are being restored and look great, I love the cobbled roads. Some ancient buildings here too but need more exploration. Hardly any restaurants for lunch is disappointing. The road system is very odd fur to the rail tracks and parking is also not so easy.

This is one of those places I could happily imagine myself...

This is one of those places I could happily imagine myself moving to. Hotel and tourism staff were warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Two was small. but had so much history. New discoveries around every corner and were pointed to many by wonderful tourist info and museum staff. Only hiccup was finding vegetarian sit-in sandwiches or meals, with coffee. Had to make do with sit-in cake and pastry shops for lunches. There was no shortage of outlets for sweet treats. Big issue is that my middle just kept spreading! Spend days walking round the town and take some trips into the countryside. Be wary of just turning up at attractions. Many need booking and many of the castles in SIlesia are actually hotels where you need a minimum number to get a tour of the tourist areas.

We went to Lubań for a doctor's appointment.

We went to Lubań for a doctor's appointment. Since we were coming from Germany, we didn't want to be rushed. We were surprised that there was no Christmas Market. The people were very friendly and helpful! There just isn't a lot to see or do there. We felt that one more day would be a strain, but that was because of the freezing room at night in the hotel. There are a few things outside of Lubań that are not far away that could be seen. It was drizzling the day we left, so we didn't explore any further afield. I simply saw them in the internet.
