Virly and Javier were very accommodating hosts. We felt very welcome and they took the time to chat with us and explain the local culture and island life. We booked their hotel (gorgeous bamboo finishings throughout) while we were on the ferry and it was one of the best locations we stayed at during our 2-week trip in the Philippines. The only thing I'd indicate for improvement is that it was a little tricky to find - perhaps a signage before the dirt road to the resort would help travellers find their way to this little slice of paradise. A good location for a relaxing holiday in San Francisco, Camotes Cay Hideaway is an apartment surrounded by views of the sea.

One of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. The hosts are extremely welcoming, the place looks great and was recently renovated.2 The whole property consist only of three villas in the most beautiful part of the island, so you have enough privacy. Also it’s located not far to the port and ferries. There is a private beach, where I was swimming every morning. Great breakfast is available in the property and If you have a chance to taste Caroline’s cooking, you definitely won’t regret. Both of them are very considerate, they were filling the drinkable water for me every day and even prepared some beers in the fridge. Bill rents motorcycles cheaper than you will find in the port and even taught me how to use a manual one. If you have a chance, don’t rent a scooter in the port, but rent a bigger one from him (they also have scooters though). Also they gave me a full itinerary and I had a chance to check even places which I definitely couldn’t find just by myself. The internet works great same as the AC and they even did laundry for me.

The Owner and his wife very friendly and so helpfull at everykind we asked. We had to leave at 4.30AM for catch the boat to ormoc and they allready prepaired pankake and coffe , melon , orangejus ,buttercookies for us at this time. 11 stars of 10. Iwill be back !!!

Simple and clean rooms. I had a blast there with my kid. Friendly staff, good food, nice pool and vibe, close to San Fransisco Beach. Friday and Saturday nice music. Absolutely recommendable

I enjoyed my stay! The AC was working well and the room was clean. Arlene and Michael are generous and gracious hosts! Meals were simple yetfreshly cooked. Considering that my trip fell on a holy week, they tried to accommodate my meals/dinner. I booked a cheaper room on my first day but Michael accommodated me to just take my upgraded room for my entire stay! They were both so nice! Camotes island is beautiful so you should rent a motorcycle or a car.. Or hail a motorcycle dude to tour you around. My room was big and it had nice windows too! This is close to Tulang Diot island.. So I recommend you go to Camotes Dive Center at around 8am and try to check if you can join their scuba tour as a freediver. If you do freediving that is. You can get a cheaper rate rather than renting a boat to go to Tulang Diot. The hotel has a lovely and stunning sunset! A million dollar view!
