Words won't do justice to how beautiful and enchanting my stay was at this heavenly resort. The surrounding nature, clean pristine beach, and waters at this resort are a treasure. Staying in the bungalow by the beach for 14 nights added to my experience, making it one to cherish and keep for life. Not to forget that it is a great way to learn how to live with nature. The bungalow nonetheless was excellently equipped with plugs, full shower, and clean, well maintained bedding. The great food, music, facilities, smiling faces, happy curious travellers, the golden sand, cutest dogs, Sune & Dina residing at the resort were the cherry on top. Most importantly, the team and the owners who have focused so greatly on making this resort feel like home completely delighted me. They care and are passionate about providing an authentic experience. I would like to send a special thank you with love to Gether for your consistent care, Pina, for your unwavering friendship and support. You've become a real friend, to Grace for your amazing service and cheerfulness, Maymay for your focus and drive, Razal for always making sure my laundry was excellently done, Bryan & Junito for the amazing food made fresh to order every single time ! The island hoping, snorkeling around the magnificent coral reefs were unforgettable, the hikes deep into the nearby village and beyond the hanging bridge into the deep jungle, was an absolute expedition into the wild, and I felt like Indian Jones on one of his adventures. Rich culture and nature of Palawan is an experience I will always be grateful for. What helped me explore all this was the fact that the resort staff had good knowledge of everything around the area and the logistics to support a solo traveller like myself.

The rooms and host are fantastic, we enjoyed our stay and will return on our next visit. The breakfast also 10 - 10.

first stop on our palawan tour and I would say the best - incredible views into bay, cozy and very clean bamboo villas, tasty simple breakfast and very helpful owners. If you want to stay out of loud place but still close enough in case you want have more fun, choose this place as it is like from a fairy tale. Will recommend everywhere!! More than the comfortable rooms and well-maintained facilities, it was the entire staff of Parrots Boutique Resort who truly made our stay relaxing and remarkable. We visited Port Barton during the rainy season, which meant rough roads and tough trails. We weren't even able to complete both our in-land and inter-island tours due to the unpredictable weather. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Parrots. The staff were very attentive and responsive—they assisted us in renting a motorcycle to explore Port Barton and thoughtfully asked in advance about our complimentary breakfast and the time we preferred to have it served. I also appreciated that we could freely enjoy the pool until 10pm. What made it even better was that the pool uses a mix of salt and fresh water, keeping it naturally warm—a perfect contrast to the cold, rainy days when we were at Port Barton. Overall, our stay at Parrots was fun and refreshing. We will definitely be back there in the future. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to visit Port Barton.

Thanks again to the kind owner Eugene who took the best care of us, we truly believe we found a great new friend in him. Also the rest of the team was always friendly. Free fresh fruit (papaya, pineapple and coconut), free coffee and water, he even offered us some of his own dinner (which he cooked himself, what an amazing chef he is, so delicious) and some drinks and even better talks. The room we stayed in was nice, with a lot of surprising extra amenities, we also enjoyed the general bamboo style of the huts. The common area was really relaxing with a beautiful view in a calm area of Port Barton. Breakfast was really good too, and the personal motorbike we rented from Eugene the best in town. He also brought us back to the van terminal in his car, so all in all the best service we could wish for.

Amazing staff and views. We had a fantastic time and would definitely come back to Summer Homes again in the future.

Best hotel in Port Barton :) ! The staff was very helpful and the room was huge ! Very close to the beach and all the good cafes. Very recommended!

The location in the middle of the jungle, the jungle sounds (natural ASMR), the cabin made with bamboo and the view over the jungle and the sea, the delicious food, the calming purring of the house cat, the cosy matrace and covered in a mosquito net, the bamboo shower

It's lovely. We stayed in a cottage a little off the main site with total privacy, and our own terrace. The place is beautiful and spotless. The cottage was on larger side with desk, space to hang clothes, kettle and daily filled fresh water. It's slightly removed from Port Barton's "downtown" but unless you are into full moon parties it's not a bad thing. Still just 5-10min walk everywhere. The only negative was v loud AC unit, but as we don't use AC during night, we didn't care.

From the moment I met the reception staff they handed me an ice tea and were full of conversation! Got to the room and it was extremely clean and big! The sheets were one of my favorite thing about this hotel. After travelling for multiple weeks, it was nice to get into these sheets, they'd almost felt ailk! Staff were more than accommodating, booking me trikes and a boat to White beach. Can't recommend this place enough and everything that goes with it!
