Bayay ni Nanay Bed & Breakfast at Magpupungko Beach is a rural home stay located beside a very popular day-trip destination for tourists visiting Siargao Island. This provided us with unique opportunities to be around the buzz and excitement of a popular beach - but also to enjoy quiet conversation with local folks. We stayed four nights and got to tour around Siargao Island's interesting beaches, caves, villages and river swimming holes. Loved the family vibe of the homestay and enjoyed the breakfast conversations.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from booking our scooters and surf lessons to giving us amazing tips on what to do around the island. They treated us like long-time friends and made us feel very welcome and at home. Our stay there wouldn't have been close to as good as it was if it was not for them. Many of the nicer and less touristy spots we went were because of their tips.

I stayed 10 nights with a friend who had their own room. The accommodation is lovely and the hosts , Ruby and Yuan were amazing , answering any and every question no matter how big or small. Breakfasts were healthy , fresh ,and tasty , make sure you let them know what you want the night before. We came to surf and their local knowledge and insights were invaluable. The location is quiet but still able to access all you need . We truely had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay and the hosts deserve to have good peope share their lovely home.

Location was close enough to the main general luna for bars and restaurants but far away enough it wasn’t noisy in the evening. The owner Richmond and his staff were the star of the show. They made my sister and I feel welcome from picking us up at the airport. Richmond and his team come with a wealth of knowledge of the island and respective activities. Don’t miss out on this location.
