What we like about the property was the cozy feeling. The place was quiet, the staffs are really helpful and friendly. I was sick because of the weather changes and they were helping me and giving me some medicines like paracetamol. They were more than happy to help all the guests. They are also flexible. The owner of the resort was also giving us some company and giving my partner some knowledge about brewing beer. He’s a nice person. We feel like home staying in this resort.

- You could feel very connected to nature in here. Quieter, and there are no bus loads of noisy tourists you’d often find in big hotels. - food is great and they have lots of options, even vegan options which is a bit rare here in the Philippines. - the staff are lovely, they even take time to remember the guests names. - the prices (food, shops, activities) are decent, actually cheaper than what most touristy hotels/resorts would charge. Prices for activities for Panglao and the countryside tour are set and written in their guide. So there is no overcharging. - There is a pool, just forgot to take pictures of it. *I would definitely recommend.*

The breakfast is very good! The family is very accommodating. They helped us a lot in finding our ways to different places. From the airport all the way to the known places of Bohol we were so amazed by the hospitality of the driver and the host. It was really a great vacation for my family! The location is off the beaten path providing a rural vibe. Angel and his family are the most warm and kind hearted people we have had the pleasure of staying with during our time in the Philippines. While staying here you are considered family and we don’t say this lightly! The location is close by some villages, waterfalls and a short motorbike ride away from the beach. The main tourist attractions (tarsier sanctuary, chocolate hills) are a bit further away, but we loved driving around on the motorbike around the island, which you can rent from them for a very reasonable price. Angel also provided lots of tips and recommendations regarding where to eat and itineraries for exploring the island. You stay on a little farm with cute piglets, cats and a dog. Behind the cottage is a hill overlooking the island providing a beautiful view of the sunrise. Overall we can not recommend this stay enough, we had an amazing time at Bohol largely thanks to Angel and his family.
