The host was fab, our flight was delayed and we didn't get to property till 2am and the host was waiting to let us in! The place is peaceful and right by the water and they give you fresh coconuts. We had to leave at 3am to go back to the airport and the host was waiting to let us out again, he was brilliant, thank you for our stay

I was greeted by the lovely hosts, Yanita and Frank and welcomed into their newly renovated hostel right by the beach. I don’t usually do reviews but this was such a fantastic stay, and some wonderful hosts! It’s worth the drive from Papeete! I look forward to the opportunity to come back to the island and stay again with them!

Great location close to the Teahupoo wave. Every day fresh coconut juice was available cross the street.Magnificent views to the mountains from the balcony. Very helpfull and friendly landlord giving us fantastic tips for discovering the island and much more!!!!

Teahupo’o Lodge was fantastic! In a great location, easy check in/out, Teiva was super responsive and helpful, the locals were friendly and helpful, and the facilities like the kayaks and SUPs, as well as the air conditioning, washing machine and small kitchen, made it a very fun and comfortable stay equipped with everything you would need (even if we didn’t get to surf the wave due to poor conditions).

all good, location is remote but we knew it. parking is no problem. free kayaks and teahuoopo taxi boat nearby (about 25 euro per pax/hour).

💯 stay in Moana’s and his wife place was really great experience. Bicycle for free was a super nice exta 👌🏻 I was traveling alone and their help me a lot with transport and recommendations. Also give super advices that make may stay to be an incredible experience. Book their place without thinking. Hope to come back and stay on master room because it’s really another level.
