The owner is very kind and attentive. He gave us wifi right away, rooms were ready at 9:30am. Bathrooms are clean and equipped. Nights are cold but there is plenty of blankets. Biggest positive surprise was dinner: excellent, 4 courses meal. Fully recommended..

Loved it! One of the first hostels in the village after a long 22km hiking day. Nice rooms with big windows, towels for free, nice dinner and breakfast and a proper shower. You can also buy sandwiches for the next hiking day. The booking.com-price included also the dinner, not only breakfast. 100% recommend!

We really liked the food haha ! The lomo saltado was excellent ! And the breakfast was really complete. We were so happy to get hot showers. The family is really kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The property was nice and comfortable with a good breakfast and friendly staff. The location while around 2km from the main road, is good for a night stop if you are traveling from Cuzco to Ayacucho. Also, there are some places to visit around (although we had no time to do it).

Just perfect! The owner, his family and the staff are all so friendly and were helpful with information about the trail for the next day. Dinner was the best food of all the places we stayed on the trail, hands down. Comfy, spacious room, bed and bathroom.

The staff went absolutely above and beyond for me and my family to ensure that we enjoyed our stay! Initially, we we only booked one night here. However after arriving and seeing how lovely Casona Mollepata was and how kind and welcoming the people of Mollepata were, we decided to extend our trip and we were so happy we did. Fredy and Ruben were excellent hosts, Fredy is a wonderful cook and Ruben is a fantastic artist! They were very knowledgable about the history of Peru as well as things to do in the area. We are very thankful to have found this gem and hope to visit again soon!
