Easily the most luxurious and comfortable place we stayed in during our visit to Peru. The room and also the garden area are decorated with attention to detail and comfort in mind. Pablo the owner is an authentic ambassador of the Kukama Culture. He is very engange socially to support and educate the people in his community. He is a very inspiring person. The Casa Kukama Lodge is a project to support the community. Before Covid he has there a school to teach children the Kukama language.

* Wilson is the best host ever - he picked us up, had great tips and helped us a lot - like getting a good priced tuktuk or where a laundry service ist * the house is very nice - breakfast was delicious and you can refill your water anytime * big nice room * we even could stay till the evening * near the airport but no sounds from it * his english was the best from all our hosts :)

Beautiful house, with a well equipped kitchen and lovely tranquil garden. The bus into the city leaves from right outside the property so it's easy to get around. Good place to rest and have a relaxing peaceful time. Host was friendly welcoming and attentive, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Staying here was the biggest gift I could give to myself. Cynthia and Ben are extremely helpful and know just the right people in Iquitos. The cabin has everything you could ask for and the bed is very comfortable. Their dog welcomes you and I was lucky enough to see Ben feed the monkeys. A little paradise in the jungle with amazing internet! Would highly recommend staying here

I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

I loved my host, gabi. Shes so warm and accomodating. Altho i didnt spend much time there since i went to the jungle, it was a good feeling to stay at her house. It really felt like home. Very clean, too. And affordable!
