Jesus and his family are amazingly welcoming and very helpful. Amazing location that allows to easily visit several islands of the lake. Boat tours can be organised from the hotel Harbor. Great view on the lake from the room. The cook is also great, very good diners. Very good hotel to discover the lake titicaca. We highly recommend!

Had a great experience at Henry and Mariluz’s. The room was very cozy with a great view of the lake. Mariluz and Henry prepared lunch, dinner and breakfast for us and the food was very good. Henry took us to the temples of Pachamama and Pachatata where we were able to enjoy the views and the peacefulness of the island. The island is so quiet with amazing views that 24 hours felt way too short! We were also able to discuss with Mariluz and Henry to understand the life on the island, which was much appreciated and separates this experience from a regular hotel. Overall highly recommend to spend a night or more!

I am so happy booking suggested this accommodation because I had such a beautiful time there. the view and the room is just perfect, at night from the balcony you have incredible sky, the family was so lovely and welcoming, always kind, I had different delicious breakfast every morning and even pancakes which I really missed! I booked for two nights and ended up staying four and could’ve stayed longer. I am really grateful for my time there, don’t hesitate to book if you feel tempted to go there.

The property is very well kept and clean. It has amazing views of the Laguna and is sheltered from the wind. The rooms are cosy and there is plenty of space to relax. We had such a great time with Mario and Julia, and our stay at Isla Taquile wouldn't have been nearly as good without their company. Mario greeted us at the port when we arrived, and later in the day showed us around the island, explaining about inca ruins and answering all our questions about the culture and lifestyle of the people living on the island. Our room was clean and comfortable with many blankets, a table and chairs, and electric outlets (although Mario said only some of the rooms have this as of today). The shower was hot and Julia cooked us delicious food for dinner (additional cost) and breakfast (included in the booking). We also got to see a weaving demonstration by Julia, and bought some beautiful homemade textile crafts from them. There was spotty Entel reception on some parts of the island, but not in the village/accommodation; apparently Bitel works better on the island, but we didn't try it ourselves. We drank the water from the tank at their place with no issue, but they have boiled drinking water for guests if needed. I'd say some knowledge of Spanish is an advantage to get the most out of a stay here, as Mario and Julia speak Spanish and Quechua but not English. All in all an excellent way to get to experience the island and its culture!

Wonderful place! Both Amantaní island and the house of Jose Luis and Pilar (Tikawasi). About their home: well constructed house, very clean, best view of Lake Titicaca, really marvelous food (thanks Pilar), lots of flowers, internet and hot water. Well located on the island, quiet place and near the plaza and the trails to the temples. About them: very friendly couple, always looking for providing the best experience on the island, since the first minute on booking chat, on the arrivel at the port, until the last minute. About the island: a magical place, imagine an island at Lake Titicaca, which mainteined their traditions and roots, with two sacred temples, at more than 4000 meters sea level, 360° view from the lake, including andean glaciers on the horizon. A peruvian highlight! Must stay for more than just one night. Best experience!
