The first thing my wife and I noticed was that the town was much quieter than other Peruvian towns we visited. I spent a lot of time undertaking photography, most people were happy to be photographed, there were some good colonial buildings you could photograph but not so much in relation to landscapes. Great city to have fun, has it all, culture, food, cathedrals, art, archaeology, music, fun outdoor trips with breath taking scenery. People are very friendly and helpful. A suggestion: don't book your tours in advance online, do it when you get there, you will find many tour kiosks around the main plaza and you can book the night before. A tour that online cots $120 dollars per person, that same tour at the plaza is $20, huge difference.
