The hotel and the entire surrounding landscape are a true paradise. The operators of the hotel are extremely friendly and very helpful and are available to answer any questions with competent answers. They also gave us tips for leisure activities. The hotel itself leaves nothing to be desired and offers every comfort. Some people have written in their reviews that there are no shopping facilities in the immediate vicinity and that it is better to stock up on drinks before travelling. It is true that there is no shop nearby, but water is available free of charge at any time of the day or night. The drinks in the hotel bar can also be bought at a really fair price. And actually, you know before you book that you've chosen a hotel in a secluded location, so that shouldn't be a problem anyway. And to be honest, it's the location in the middle of nature on the beautiful beach that gives the hotel its special flair. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and we always enjoyed it. The breakfast was included in the room rate, was very good and you could also choose from different variations. We really enjoyed the hotel and will definitely be back. Thanks a lot for the great days and your excellent hospitality! Oops, I almost forgot, you can also watch sloths and howler monkeys from the hotel. Really cute to watch :)

from the breakfast ladies to the specialised feast they produced for us each morning, to the incredible and unique dome room, to the amazing remote location where we were surrounded by the lushest green and wildlife (including monkeys) - wow! We had an excellent time at Bird Island Bungalows. From the moment we arrived we were able to disconnect and just be present at this beautiful property. The staff were very attentive and friendly and always looking after us. The views are spectacular whether enjoying them from the deck, the pool or one of the two private beaches. Breakfast was well served and delicious. I'd highly recommend the granola. All in all we had a very relaxing time at Bird Island Bungalows and we sad to leave but we'll certainly be back some day soon!

We had a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom pretty clean and you can also take a hot shower. The breakfast was delicious and the attention of the staff flawless. People usually complain about the noise of the boats, but it's just at peak hours when people go and comeback from tours. I highly recommend this place.
