We had absolutely wonderful stay in this villa. The pool was divine, and the villa itself was breathtaking. Wonderful palce to stay with a lovely view towards the mountain. The owner left us some snacks, which was much appreciated. Excellent place, views to village and mountains around, spaceous hotel and room. Great hospitality! The owner kindly picked us up from downhill (we didnt have strong car to ride those steady hills). After our stay they drove us back downhill to our car. Great staff! The cook and waiter were excellent! Wish you all the best at the hotel! We would like to come back in a few years to see how the hotel and staff is doing. Really charming place.

Hotel LAvenue is a perfect small hotel in the center of Nizwa. Everything is new, tidy, and clean, and the staff are wonderfully kind — not pretending to be polite but genuinely warm and sincere. All the heartfelt hospitality that has disappeared in Europe still exists here. The hotel offers luggage transport from the large and free parking area nearby, which is an additional plus. The room has everything you need, and after check-in, we were offered cookies and coffee. It’s hard to find this level of service and quality for the price of a night at Hotel LAvenue. Special praise goes to the young and very polite receptionist.

The charm of the hotel and the sorrounding properties was amazing. Hussain from house keeping/reservation was excellent and even went out of his way to guide us so we did not get lost. The Halwa, Omani Coffee and Dates at check-in/check-out was a lovely touch. Close proximity to the Nizwa Fort, Souq and Mosques.

The guest house is run by two very hospitable and friendly brothers, who originate from the nearby village. The house was built by them in a charming and authentic Omani style. From its terraces there is a breathtaking view of the high mountains and village. The silence is welcoming to the soul. There are walks and hikes that can be taken starting from the guesthouse or the 2 minute steep drive to the village below. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom and shower are simple, clean and functional. Our supper and breakfast were homemade and delicious. The were served on one of the terraces. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to experience an authentic stay in Oman. Thank you very much for an unforgettable stay.
