Said, the owner of the camp, send a person to pick me up at Al Wasil village, because I did not have a car. You can reach Al Wasil with shared taxi or Mwasalat Bus. The camp is solar powered, so no noise from generators. He can organize trips in the desert, and to Wadi Bani Khalid. All meals provided are very big portions. The tends are comfortable, and there is a toilet with shower in the camp. The camp is not very far from the village, but it is also close to some dunes you can reach independently with a short walk, to watch the sunrise or sunset. Said is a very precise person, and answered all the questions I needed, before my arrival.

Everything was perfect, the hospitality, location, facilities. The owner will install WiFi to make it even better. The breakfast served by the owner himself was also marvelous. Will definitely come back when in Oman.

They were very guest friendly, they gave us amazing tips and the desert activities available at the camp were comparatively more affordable. The camp tents were comfortable and it gives somewhat of an authentic desert experience. Thus, all together we had a great stay and the perfect desert experience. Kais was also very approachable and was trying to make our stay in the desert unforgettable. He planned with us our further trip and connected us with the right people.

This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

An amazing experience in a Bedouin camp in the desert among the dunes. Great hosts, a diverse program (camel rides, driving cars on the dunes, local music and dance after dinner), excellent food. Very comfortable bed. Each tent was with its own private bathroom.

Amazing Omani welcome from Saud and his family. A stunning location with spotlessly clean and comfortable tents, with crisp linen and beautiful interior decoration. Delicious and plentiful buffet dinner taken in a traditional Omani tent setting, then sitting beside an open fire under the stars. This is a must visit location for anyone wanting to experience the beauty and tranquillity of the desert. And very fair value for money considering the amenities and warm hospitality. We had an unforgettable experience here, like in a fairy tale from the Arabian Nights amidst the breathtaking desert dunes, we experienced genuine, warm hospitality. We checked into a villa that we were told was ours and were looked after by Tushar, who was invisible, very respectful of privacy and yet always there when we needed him. He explained that the owner of the house, Mohammed, had told him that it wasn't about money, the only important thing was that the guests were happy and that they were treated like family. The landlord, Mohammed himself, took us into the desert and treated us to a big dinner in the middle of the dunes, and when a sandstorm came up, Mohammed even conjured up an innovative shelter for us out of flying carpets. On the day of our departure, we were surprised by Mohammed and his children who visited us with presents, we experienced the great hospitality of Oman first hand and felt at home, and now, back home, we miss it very much.
